ELTA North America (ELTA NA) is a global leader in the design, manufacture and support of innovative electronic systems for the United States government. ELTA NA is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Business Development Operations & Marketing Manager.

Annapolis Junction, MD / Washington DC area


Summary

This position will be responsible for managing business development operations and marketing activities. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated success in synchronizing front end of the business activities, developing marketing campaigns and assisting with new business captures.

This position reports directly to the President & CEO.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with new business pursuits and capture strategies
  • Assist with customer-facing activities, presentations, and responses to RFI/RFP/and RFQs
  • Manage CRM and provide analytical products to inform the executive staff
  • Lead marketing efforts, to include message strategies, social media content, graphics design, press releases and target marketing campaigns
  • Assist in strategy development, market analysis, product positioning, competitive intelligence and price-to-win
  • Manage trade show scheduling, resource planning and messaging
  • Ability to work cohesively as a member of the business development team but also work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or other related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of Business/Proposal Development and/or marketing experience in a technical environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries and issues
  • Ability to generate effective oral and written presentations on complex subjects
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret complex customer requirements from verbal and written communication
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office applications
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
